Ordering and delivery
Seven days. Every sofa is built to order and leaves our floor a week after you order. That part is entirely ours. Delivery & 7 Days
You'll see your estimated delivery window for your ZIP code before you order, again in your confirmation, and we'll confirm it with you when your sofa ships. If a date ever moves, you'll hear it from us first.
Standard delivery to your door is free. White-glove delivery, into the room you choose, assembled, with the packaging taken away, is $149, added at checkout.

Yes to both. When your sofa ships, we confirm the window with you, and if you'd rather it came later, tell us. If you'd like us to hold it before it ships, write to us when you order and we will. After it ships, the carrier may charge for storage.
Usually. If a piece ships separately there's no extra charge, and your tracking shows each box. Tell us if you'd rather wait and receive everything at once.
The carrier will contact you to reschedule. Rescheduling a confirmed freight delivery carries the carrier's $100 fee.
Within 24 hours of ordering, for a full refund: we start building quickly. After 24 hours, a 10% fee, capped at $200. Once it's shipped, it can't be cancelled; it can be returned. Returns

Tell us within 7 days of delivery, with a photo, and we'll send the part or replace the piece. If a box looks damaged on arrival, you can refuse it and call us.

One free comfort exchange within 60 days of delivery. If the comfort isn't right, we exchange your seat cushions (and your ottoman's) for the firmness you choose, and a white-glove technician does it in your home, on us. Available on the Kova now. Coming to Barton and Lido. How the exchange works
No. It changes comfort, never style. A Box stays a Box; choose the look first.
If it's a Kova and the comfort just isn't you, that's the exchange. If something is actually wrong with a cushion, on any sofa, that's the warranty, and we'll make it right. Make a claim
Covers unzip and machine-wash cold on delicate; hang to dry. Spot-clean the upholstered frame with mild soap and lukewarm water. Leather and vegan leather have their own care, on the Care page.
Within 30 days of delivery, in like-new condition, for a 20% fee; we pick it up, white-glove, on us. It's built to order for you, not pulled from a warehouse, and the fee covers what it costs to take back a sofa that was made for you. Returns

Our parent company: thirty years of furniture manufacturing for offices, universities, and hospitals, with more than 2,000 craftspeople on its own payroll. Exemplis bought Albany Park to rebuild it around the factory it owns. Our Story
Same name, rebuilt company. The classic Kova was imported, like everyone else's sofa; the Kova is built by us, from the frame out, in two looks. Reviews on our site are labeled by product and date so you can tell which sofa is being described.
