"Love my Kova box cushion with grand corner! I’ve had it about a month and it is beautiful and comfortable! I got the chenille and it’s very soft. It’s HUGE! Yes I knew what the measurements were before ordering, but seeing it in my room is different. Luckily, we have a big room. The only thing I don’t like is you can’t turn the seat cushions over. We got the sectional during a holiday sale, so it was affordable. I hope it holds up to wear and tear, but so far, we are very happy with it and recommend."

Uncomfortable

"I’ve had this sofa for about two months now and thought it was going to break in and get comfortable with use? I feel like I’m sitting on a hard play mat. My butt gets numb after sitting through a tv show. Any time we lay on it the cushions separate. Not only that but loose threads everywhere. We bought it on sale and wouldn’t recommend even at discount price."

Comfy but Frustrating

"The couch is super comfortable and easy to clean but delivery was a headache and it is NOT resistant to pet hair. We went with the performance fabric which was supposed to keep hair off, but it constantly collects and shows fur and fuzz. I like it but the cleaning all the time is very frustrating."

Q&A

The ottoman gives you a choice of leg color…. But the couch does not. I’d prefer the natural oak legs with the camel velvet. Is this something that could be done?

Is the Sunbrella linen (in black) a comfortable fabric? I have the swatch but its hard to tell if that will be comfortable on an entire couch or not. The performance linen feels smoother, but still seems rough (again a little hard to tell with the swatch and how it would feel laying on it). Any other true black color fabrics you recommend for the Kova? Onyx, licorice and smoke look more gray in the pictures even though the color filter has them under black.

How does each modular piece connect to the other pieces? Is there hardware on the side of each piece to anchor the pieces together? Also, later on if you move to a smaller house and can’t use all the pieces in the original L shape will hardware joining clips or hardware be exposed on the side of the modular piece ruining the aesthetics of the new configuration?
Hi Barbara, Thank you for contacting us. All Kova Armless and Corner pieces attach together underneath the frame using alligator clips, making it easy to connect or separate them as needed. The Kova Collection is designed to be modular, so you can rearrange the pieces to create different shapes and configurations that best fit your space. The alligator clips pivot around so they can be hidden under the Bases if not in use.
is slate closer to black or grey? i ordered the sample but not sure i will have it in time to not miss the sale? i was also looking in to sunbrella black however would like a more comfortable fabric.

i received my swatch samples. Is the Sunbrella fabric really stiff? it sort of feels it on the small swatch . Also The Boucle fabric is this easy to clean seems to be a good fabric to hide some messes. ? It shows people removing the cushion covers I'm assuming to clean but here you state that it isn't recommended to wash. lastly what is the actual cushion depth?

Our Sunbrella Linen fabric offers liquid-resistant properties and resilience with exceptional durability more so than our other fabrics, the swatch is the same exact fabric on the finished products. Our Bouclé material is very good at hiding dirt due to the construction of the fabric itself. All Seat and Back Cushions have zippers, allowing you to remove the Inserts from the Covers for cleaning if needed. Most of our Performance Fabrics are Machine Washable, but not all. It is best to use the filter option and choose "Machine Washable" among the features to view only Machine Washable fabrics. The Kova Box Cushions are 6" thick while the Kova Pillow Cushions are 6-9" in thickness depending on the fluffing skills.
