Q: Does the boucle fabric stand up to cat scratching?

Thank you for the inquiry.

We do not recommend Quartz Bouclé if you have pets since it is not one of our Pet Friendly fabrics on our Park Collection, it might not stand up well against cat scratching.

You can click on the filter option and click on "Pet Friendly" among the features to view only Pet Friendly fabrics. These fabrics are Durable, have tighter weave to resist snagging, making it easy to clean and remove pet hair, and stain-/liquid resistant.

Q: Do you have a modified back cushion for the swivel chair? The chair itself and its back specifically sits very "upright" and is not as comfortable as it could be with a slight tilt . Since the chair can't tilt (that and/or rocking would be a huge improvement btw), a tilt of that back cushion might help. Do you have such a thing sized appropriately? As it is, I love the chair in every other way but can't lean back and get comfy reading a book or such. Could you provide a new bottom mount to add more tilt to the chair as a whole? I'd buy it in a heartbeat. As it is, I'd almost send the chair back but it looks good and is well built so am hoping I can "make it more comfy"...

Q: Does the cover come off to clean?

The Park Swivel Armchair's Seat cushion, Back cushion, and Small Lumbar Pillows have zippers which allows you to remove the Covers for cleaning, if needed.

Q: Not sure why I have to write a question here.. but this is really a review. DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR IN BOUCLE. This "lifetime warranty" is fraudulent and will not cover the integrity of the seams in the cover. One gentle wash cycle and your covers WILL be destroyed and Albany park WILL NOT COVER IT. They will request that you pay for the replacements (65 for seat, 50 for back and side covers) even though there's no language pertaining otherwise.

Please note that none of the Park Swivel Armchair's fabric options are Machine-washable. The new Machine-washable fabrics are the Performance fabrics from our Kova, Barton, and Lido Collections only.

To clean Non-Performance Fabric Collections (Kovas Purchased prior to 9/23/24 or from the Albany & Park Collections), we recommend Spot cleaning: use a clean, absorbent cloth to gently blot any spills, and avoid rubbing the fabric. Clean with a mixture of mild soap and lukewarm water, using a soft cloth or sponge. Allow the fabric to air dry completely before using to prevent mildew or water stains.

Our products are built to last and we stand by their quality, which is why all of our products come with a Lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, damage due to machine washing non Machine-washable fabrics is not covered by our Warranty. The good news is, you have the option to purchase replacement parts if needed.
